How to Find Legitimate Work at Home Jobs

As a soon-to-be parent, I really like the idea of working at home. You save time and money when you don’t have to commute, buy work clothes, or buy lunch.

You can also do laundry during your breaks, get dinner started right after work, and be there more for your kids. There seems to be fewer distractions at home so you can focus on your work, depending on your situation. You’ll also have more energy after work since you won’t have to drive anywhere.

    Working at home is a mixed blessing, it is not as easy at is seems to lead people to believe. Especially if there are kids in the mix! My wife works largely from home, and this week has been brutal for her because our baby has decided that she simply will not nap this week for more than 15 minutes at a time. This means that she has had no insurance of time to finish her projects, and it's really tough. Add to that the fact that people seem to think that she now has infinite amounts of free time, (work doesn't finish itself, whether at home or at an office!) and it can get kind of stressful sometimes.

    Sometimes you need that break from home. Sure it's very nice to be at home, but you won't appreciate it when you're always stuck there. Wink Congrats on the baby. Big Grin
