Want the iPhone, consider the iPod Touch

If it's in your budget and you or someone on your gift list wants an iPhone, consider the iPod Touch. It has everything the iPhone has without the phone.

    This is the route I took too. Rather than an iPhone, I opted for a Touch and a Tracfone. Two devices that essentially does the same thing as one iPhone, except it's much more affordable.

    There are several apps on there that I use nearly daily, especially SplashMoney, which is what I use to keep track of my finances.

    Working extremely well for me. I rarely use the phone, so I only pay for the minutes that I do use, which translates to roughly $5 per month. Coverage is superb too.
